I'm going to hazard a guess that repairing/upgrading your ipad isn't like your avg laptop. For example, perhaps the disk drive gets damaged and I want to replace it. I might end up sending my Pad off to apple so they can charge me for an extortionate price to repair it? Perhaps it'll be better to throw it out and buy a new one... Many experts in media think that iPad will make tradional paper magagazines and papers part of the history as iPad will be the media for reading newspapers, magazines.
